PPP loan

I got a PPP loan through Blue Acorn. Do they have to provide me with a loan forgiveness application, or is there a generic one that can be used for everyone? I have family members that have already gotten their loan forgiven, and I want to get the process rolling for me, but I'm stalled at the moment, because I can't get much help from Blue Acorn. Anyone have advice, or the link to the forgiveness application? Thanks in advance!

Hi Janine, sorry can't be of much assistance, as loan forgiveness will be handled by each bank. When was the loan made? You have 10 months from when your covered period ends before the loan provisions kick in. If you got your loan this year, you likely still have some time. If it was last year, keep pushing Blue Acorn. If they stonewall you, contact your local SBA district office to inform them. Sample forms are available here, but Blue Acorn would likely have you fill something in online: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/covid-19-relief-options/paycheck-protection-program/ppp-loan-forgiveness#section-header-8
Hope that helps.
